Our Second Vice President, Ill. Frank H. Guinn, D.O., was raised in Universal Lodge, Cherry Hill, NJ, in 1958. He served his Lodge as Worshipful Master in 1993. Dr. Guinn is a member of Benjamin Franklin Consistory, Scottish Rite, N.J. and has served as Sovereign Prince in 2003.
Ill. Guinn’s many Masonic affiliations include membership in the Royal Arch, Abingdon PA Chapter, Philadelphia Council #11, Royal & Select Masters, Kensington Kadosh Commandery Knights Templar, The Royal Order of Scotland, Order of Jesters, Red Cross of Constantine, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Council of Knight Masons and the National Sojourner – Heroes of 76.
Dr Guinn is a member of LuLu Shrine and was Potentate in 2004. He belongs to the Order of Q, International Cabiri as well as numerous units and clubs, serving many of them as Presiding Officer. He has held positions with the Imperial Shrine, as a Delegate to the Imperial Council, as a District Deputy on the Membership Committee and as a member of the TRAC Committee.
Ill. Frank received his B.A. from Albright College in 1958 and added many post-graduate studies culminating in his 1976 graduation from Medical School as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Many steps that lead him into a long and well-recognized medical career followed this. He has shared this medical expertise by serving as Physician of various Societies and holds membership in a large number of Professional Organizations. He uniquely served the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, the former as a batboy and the latter as Associate Physician.
Our current Second Vice President served his country as both and enlisted member and as an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve from which he retired with the rank of Captain. Ill. Frank H. “Doc” Guinn lives in Huntingdon Valley, PA with his wife Inez. The couple has a son David.
